While in Cali we took a day off from Disney and went to the beach. We went to two different beaches. First we went to Seal Beach. I had never been before and wasn't super impressed. Then after lunch we went Huntington Beach and met up with B's family. They aren't very far apart and it was a quick drive down the PCH. I have been to that beach MANY times through college and while I always enjoyed it then, I haven't ever had as much fun as I did on this particular trip. A, J and I went out into the waves and had fun gathering shells for the kids and trying not to get knocked over by the giant waves. The kids had a blast finding shells and running from the waves as they hit the beach. There was a big jelly fish washed up on the shore and the adults were all a little nervous one of the kids would end up getting stung. I wish I had pictures from that portion of our beach trip.
