Spring time pictures

Our front tree has the most beautiful blossoms. Bright pink ones that when they fall to the ground it looks as if cotton candy is all over. Before church this morning we took a few family pictures in the blossoms. I think they turned out all right, considering one child has a really hard time sitting still or focusing on anything for an extended period of time and the other child feels it is her duty to help the other one. They are good girls though and pretty darn cute if I say so myself.

Our Little Ballerina

Since Sept of last year Thing 1 has been taking ballet and tap classes. Most weeks it is like pulling teeth to have her get ready for class, but she has gone. We put her in class because when we ask her what she wants to be when she grows up, she answers ballerina. The day of recital came and she was such a good girl. She performed fine on stage and looked beautiful. I think her outfit looks like Little Boo Peep. In fact, I am planning on her being that for this coming Halloween, hehehe.
At the end of last week, she started getting anxious about performing on the stage. The night before her recital we had daddy give her a blessing of comfort. She wasn't at all scared the day of performance and actually did her part. We were so proud of her! She said that the blessing helped her feel better. It was a great experience for her.

Our newest Addition to the Lofgran Family

B's baby brother got married in April to one of the sweetest girls I have ever met. No I'm not just saying that either. If I didn't approve, I would just mention he got married and that was it. But the truth is we all love our K, the girls have easily taken to her and with something like 12 nieces they often fight over who gets to sit by her and so on. The girls wore polka doted dresses and I found the CUTEST shoes ever for Thing 1. They matched her dress perfectly. I wish I could find a pair in my size.
The wedding went over pretty darn well if I say so myself. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony, and of course a BEAUTIFUL couple. We wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
