Let the massacres begin- not for the faint of heart

Last year Sleepy brought home several snakes. This year she has started again, but has branched out . A while back I was down stairs cleaning before B came home from a call day. I heard this screaming from Thing 1  All I could understand was MOM, SLEEPY blah bah blah. I asked her what she said several times and I couldn't get what she was telling me.  Finally, I told her I to wait because I couldn't hear what she was saying. Then she yells down. MOM SLEEPY BROUGHT IN AN ANIMAL!! SHE KILLED IT, SHE KILLED AAAANNNNN ANIMAAALLLL!!  Sure enough, I went up stairs and found a dead mouse on my kitchen floor. UGH! I had to scour my entire floor. It was so gross.

Today, Thing 1 found half of a snake on the deck. The other day I found another half as well. Yuck!! Shortly afterwards I heard Sleepy on our back steps meowing. Normally she doesn't make much noise outside. I went to investigate and found a full grown snake. The thing is that she didn't kill the thing. UGH! The girls wanted to see it so I held it for them and let them pet it. Then we sent it back over the fence. I think she stunned it more then anything. I have to say I would much rather find a dead mouse by my back door then a dead snake. The snakes eat the mice.

Mommy's shoes

Thing 2 in my shoes. I love how she ended up looking like she is knocked kneed.

Pants Baby! Where are your PANTS?

Thing 1 called from the other room, "Mom, I think you should come and see Thing 2  " She had pulled her pants down around her ankles and was walking around in B's shoes. By the time that I got there, she was trying to  pull up her pants. Cute little baby, so silly.

Big Girl Cup

Thing 2 wants to be like Thing 1 in every way possible. One of which is using a big cup, not a sippy cup but an actual adult size cup. This afternoon B and I turned around to see her playing with her cup. When she saw us looking at her she started to laugh. She thinks she is sooo funny. I have to admit she really is. She is getting so big.

Easter holiday

This year the easter bunny didn't bring as much candy as he normally does, but he still hid the eggs for Thing 1 and the girls both loved the toys and goodies that he brought for them. The flowers are the flowers that Thing 1 and I cut from our yard. They were originally in a different vase that fit them better, but that was broken on accident. I still think they are so pretty. I love spring time and all the wonderful colors.
The best part of the candy were the pop rocks. The girls LOVED them.  It was hilarious watching both of them with fizzing mouths. Unfortunately, some of the candy was dropped all over the floor so for the rest of the morning I would walk around and step on them. They would make a loud pop and startle me every time.

Family Fun

We went to B's brother's home in Sandy and had a fun BBQ with some of B's family. For dessert we had ice cream cones and Thing 2 fully enjoyed hers, as you can see. She didn't care about the cone, just the ice cream. It was fun to see her shove her face into the cone deeper and deeper, making more and more of a mess. Thing 1 had fun playing with her cousin Em.

Cute Little Girlies!!!!!

While we were in Reno we were able to meet the twins. We went out there after they were born but they were still in the NICU. Since we were sick when we went out there we couldn't meet them for fear of getting them sick and adding any more strain to them. They were born at 28 weeks and now look at them. They are SOOOOO CUTE!!!! They are doing great. Bailey is the one on the left and Regan is on the right. Bailey has red hair and olive skin whereas, Regan is blonde with fair skin. We took advantage of having all the grandkids together and took a picture. Chris' girls are holding the twins and Thing 1 is holding Thing 2. We love our girlies for sure.

Happy BIrthday Arden!!

A few weeks ago we went to Reno for Arden's birthday. We went to the gymnasium and had  a fun time playing on all the fun toys there. The kids had a blast. As always, it was great to see family.
