Easter

Thing 1 and her Easter egg hunt. It will be nice when she has to share the easter eggs. I guess the Easter bunny could have hid less, but where is the fun in that? She really got into looking for the eggs. The bunny this year opted to hide the eggs in the basement this year for a few reasons. One was daddy had to go into work that morning and didn't want him to miss out on the fun of watching Thing 1 look for the eggs and two, it was still chilly outside.

After finding all the eggs, Thing 1 had us hide them for her again and again and again.

Vegas

Thing  1playing at the "beach" at our hotel in Vegas. I love that they put in this little area and filled it in with sand. Thing 1 loves the sand but isn't a big fan of getting wet in the water.


Another reason that there are no entries for this month is that we were gone for a good part of the month. The girls and I went to Las Vegas twice. The first time we went we were with my mom and my nieces. The second time it was just our family for our family vacation- unfortunately I have no pictures from that trip. I carried the camera around all the time yet I failed to take even one picture. Lame.
Thing 1 LOVES Las Vegas. Granted she has never been in the middle of the summer. Just when it was perfect weather. On the way home from our first trip she cried that she didn't want to leave and asked when we could go back to Vegas. The second trip was cut short by a few days because we had to go to  the Burg for a funeral. When we got to the Burg and there was snow on the ground and FREEZING wind; she cried that winter was back and wanted to know where summer had gone.

Taxes

I really do NOT like doing taxes, this year was no exception. My dining table is a mess and my life feels chaotic. Even though we have an accountant that actually does them I get stressed just having to pull all the info together; pitiful I know. This was part of why there were no blog entries for the month of Mar.
