B and I put in a simple flower bed in front of part of our home. The girls were outside with us while we were putting in the retaining wall and more bulbs and what not. Thing 2 had a grand ole time while we were working. She entertained herself with playing in the mud and dirt and ate a good amount of it as well. She was happy and well... a little dirt never hurt anyone.

Who doesn't love to play in the mud? I can't get over what a good-natured kid she is!
Sounds like exactly how I'd handle a project like that with a baby. I agree. A little dirt won't hurt!
